The inaugural Library Publishing Forum (March 5-6, 2014 in Kansas City) brought together librarians and other publishers to define and address major questions; to identify and document collaborative opportunities; to strengthen and promote a community of practice; and to advance this vibrant subfield of academic publishing. The event focused on alignment opportunities between libraries, across campus stakeholder groups, and throughout the scholarly communications landscape. Keynotes, panel discussions, and interactive breakout sessions explored ways to align library publishing activities in the areas of Policies, Infrastructure, and Organizations.
