The journal focuses on multiliteracies in the classroom and showcases literacy pedagogies, theories, materials, research, and practical application. Higher education faculty, classroom teachers, support personnel, and others who engage in literacy instruction in their various roles are encouraged to submit to this journal. Articles include traditional empirical research, practitioner-focused application pieces, lesson plan manuscripts, book reviews, creative art, fiction, and non-fiction. A significant part of Literacy Connections’ mission is to provide a powerful place for literacy practitioners to share their voices and examples of best practices.
