About This Journal
Welcome to the Undergraduate Research Journal for the Human Sciences (URJHS), a refereed, multidisciplinary, online undergraduate journal produced by Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society. This journal will advance knowledge in new scholarly arenas by presenting intellectual and reflective work from undergraduate students. The twofold purpose of this journal is to foster and reward the scholarly efforts of undergraduate human sciences students, as well as to provide a valuable learning experience. Faculty members, who deserve recognition, are identified by an asterisk next to their name(s).
The Undergraduate Research Journal for the Human Sciences adds to the increasing number of scholarly journals that invite undergraduates to pursue their intellectual projects. We seek undergraduate contributions to the expanding academic conversation on human sciences.
The Undergraduate Research Journal for the Human Sciences is open to undergraduate students in the U.S. in human sciences areas. The opportunity for undergraduates to publish in a national journal is an added value to their overall education experience and the process of self-discovery. All articles published in this journal will reflect the appropriate scope and complexity for excellent undergraduate work, as well as undergo a peer-review process.
