Kansas State University’s Center for Engagement and Community Development (CECD) convenes annually rotating meetings whose presentations are published here. The Engagement Symposium, a regional event held at Kansas State University, alternates with the national Rural Grocery Summit, held in different cities. These meetings convene a cross-section of scholarly and community experts to address challenges in the development and sustainability of community, both locally and globally.

CECD meetings offer a variety of presentation formats and emphasize a high degree of interactivity among participants. If selected to present, you will have the opportunity to upload your presentation documents to New Prairie Press, an open source publishing platform supported by Kansas State University.
