Aims & Scope
Games in Learning and Teaching is an academic journal aimed at exploring games in educational settings. GILT is an open-source publication, freely available for use by students, teachers, game designers, and researchers. Articles include research of both analog and digital games, commentary on design processes in creating educational games, practitioner reflections on games-based learning, and more. Authors include academic researchers from a variety of fields, teachers, graduate and undergraduate students, and game designers. We invite everyone to share their knowledge and expertise with the wider gaming community.
We believe games have the power to change lives: cognitively, socially, and morally.
