Aims and Scope

The Journal of International Agricultural and Extension Education (JIAEE) seeks to advance knowledge and practice in the fields of agricultural and extension education, focusing on the intersection of education, agriculture, and international development. JIAEE publishes feature research, research notes and literature reviews that enhance understanding of how agricultural education and extension systems can address global challenges related to food security, environmental sustainability, community development, and rural livelihoods.

Our aim is to foster scholarly discourse and evidence-based practices that promote innovative solutions in agricultural and extension education across diverse cultural and geographical contexts. JIAEE encourages interdisciplinary submissions that integrate social, behavioral, and agricultural sciences, and prioritize participatory approaches, collaboration, and capacity building.

The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, educators, extension and outreach professionals, policymakers, and practitioners working at the nexus of agriculture, education, and rural development (existing, occurring, or carried on between two or more nations). Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
