Abstract

Education for adults is complicated the time of global economic growth, domestic/international unemployment, and increased presence of higher education in the marketplace. The purpose of this paper is to uncover ways the adult learner is challenged and shaped by the context of commercial education. Motivations, perceptions of success (or lack of), and the overall experience are gauged.
