Robert Egger describes the background work he conducted over two decades developing the DC Central Kitchen in Washington DC that became the model for the L.A. Kitchen. The Kitchens receive food donated by hospitality businesses and farms to not only meet nutritional needs of the economically disadvantaged, but offer culinary arts job training to help men and women gain full time employment.
