Over the last year, Kansas 4-H has collaborated with the Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy to bring new ways for youth and adults to experience Leadership Communication through the process of civic discourse, public narrative and deliberative forums. Hundreds of Kansas youth and adult community members have come together to both facilitate and participate in Community Conversations employing the National Issues Forums model of deliberation, learning how to collectively seek common ground for the good of society.
