Heterosis estimates were determined for gestation length, birth weight, and yearling weight using a two-breed rotational crossbreeding system with Angus and Simmental cattle. Angus-sired calves from Simmental darns were significantly heavier at weaning and as yearlings than the reciprocal cross.
